From the look of the SNES9x website, you’d think work had stopped on it in around 1999. That means many ROM hacks weren’t designed with accuracy in mind, but around the peculiarities of ZSNES, so they only work well (or at all) in this emulator.

At the bottom / status bar it says "loaded, and applied IPS patch" but the patch isn't applied in the game. In settings it says it will load IPS from path "Same as loaded game", which should be ok.

bsnes-hd (called "HD Mode 7 mod, for bsnes" in early betas) is a fork of bsnes (great SNES emulator by byuu) that adds HD video features, such as: i was thinking about other emulators such as zsnes or snes9x. It would need a review of the set or hash of the chosen roms because finish the game with Rain, Kung Lao, Smoke and Classic Sub Zero, the game crash when we kill Shao Khan.
Also, if you’re into some of the more obscure SNES accessories like the Satellaview, higan is by far the best choice to use.
